The Big Gay Jamboree

The Big Gay Jamboree is a joyously irreverent Off-Broadway musical comedy, produced by LuckyChap Entertainment — the theater debut of Margot Robbie’s company. The show was co-written by and stars Marla Mindelle, alongside Jonathan Parks-Ramage, with music and lyrics by Mindelle and Philip Drennen.

In a delightfully meta twist, Mindelle plays Stacey, an aspiring actress who wakes up hungover to find herself trapped inside a 1940s Golden-Age musical. As she navigates this whimsical, old-school world — complete with big song-and-dance numbers, over-the-top characters, and pop culture nods — Stacey confronts and subverts musical-theater clichés about homophobia, sexism, and racism.
